FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
  • Who can attend our events?
    Everyone is welcome at our events. Some of our events are 21+ so please check the location or ask us directly.
  • Why do you charge for tickets?
    MHQC is committed to providing safe spaces for queers to have a good time. Often these events have costs associated with renting the space, decorating, and providing entertainment, and all of our ticket sales go directly into these costs. Any remaining amount goes towards giving back to our community during volunteer events or back into another event to decrease the cost of that ticket price. If cost is a barrier to attending one of our events, you can apply for a Scholarship ticket here.
  • How do I get involved?
    We can never have enough help when it comes to MHQC. We would love to have more volunteer committee members who can help us during events! If you’re interested in getting involved, you can DM us directly on Instagram at @milehighqueerclub or send us an email at admin@milehighqueerclub.com
  • Do MHQC board members get paid?
    Since our creation, MHQC has been and will remain a volunteer role with no payment for board members. Each board member donates their time and energy to each event you see. When we outsource help, we do compensate them accordingly.
